The Dress of Dreams - Blush Gold Sequinned Wedding
Emma's gown was a true masterpiece, custom-designed by the talented bridal designer Margo Stankova, who has gained popularity among chic rock 'n' roll brides. Margo's Peony Collection features striking sparkly dresses, but Emma's blush gold sequinned wedding creation was truly in a league of its own.
The gown perfectly hugged Emma’s figure, adorned with hundreds of sequins that flickered with each step she took, resulting in a captivating spectacle. As the dress shimmered in the light, it became a statement piece that captured the spirit of their rock 'n' roll wedding.
For brides inspired by Emma's unique aesthetic, her choice reflects the possibility of embracing a non-traditional style while preserving the elegance that defines such a cherished occasion. The fitted silhouette and flattering mermaid cut of the dress radiated confidence, showing that you can stand out while still adhering to wedding day norms.

EMMA GRIMWOOD
"I knew fairly early on that I didn’t want a white dress, and after trying on a couple, my suspicions were confirmed: they just weren’t my thing. I’d been mentioning the idea of a subtle gold dress to a few friends and my cousin sent me a picture of someone she knew who got married in a pink sequinned dress. I immediately knew that I wanted pretty much the same thing in gold. I contacted the dress designer and maker Margo Stankova immediately and booked an appointment to see her. She was an absolute delight: she helped me design the dress to my liking and, of course, made it beautifully with perfect details, such as allowing me to button up the train in such a way that I could dance! The biggest challenge was keeping my mouth shut about it – I knew Patrick would absolutely adore it and I was so excited for him to see it on the day."
Details that Dazzled
Beyond Emma's stunning dress, the wedding was filled with lovely blush and gold accents that created a romantic, laid-back vibe. Plenty of beautiful floral arrangements paired with fairy lights and thoughtfully chosen décor transformed The Asylum Chapel into a captivating wonderland.
Emma and Patrick aimed for a wedding that felt personal and comfortable. They infused elements into their décor that represented their journey, ensuring their love story resonated in each detail. From custom signage to hand-picked music, their choices told a narrative that connected with their guests.
